Our History

Solé Inn and Suites was originally constructed in 1958 during a boom of development in Downtown Pensacola, marked by growth in industry, entertainment, and commerce.

Solé is a quintessential example of postmodern architecture, reminiscent of the best travel destinations of the 1950s and 60s. In 2006, the current owner purchased the property with a vision to restore its fabulous style.

After a complete remodel, renovation, and restoration, Solé now stands as a sleek, elegant hotel. We are proud to have been voted Best Independent Hotel in Pensacola, FL by In Magazine every year since our renovation.

Directions and Location

  • Our address is 200 North Palafox Street Pensacola, FL 32502. We are on the corner of Palafox and Gregory Street.

  • If you have trouble finding us, then follow these directions: Exit I-110 South from Interstate 10, head south until you reach Exit 2 for Cervantes, take a right on Cervantes, turn left on Palafox Street, keep going until you reach the bottom of the hill, take a left on Gregory Street, then prepare yourself for a quick left back onto Palafox. Then, you will see our entrance at 200 N. Palafox Street.
